The flooring is composed of a multi-layer technology in which there are three distinct layers that comprise each floor. This is an incredibly important characteristic of Kahrs Flooring because wood is a hygroscopic material, meaning that it expands or contracts when the level of humidity increases or decreases. Thus, the extra layers allow the floor to be durable and flexible in times of climate changes. Additionally, the floor is environmentally friendly due the hardwood surface layer being only 1/8″ thick and the core material being made of fast growing wood, such as Pine. Each floor is also equipped with Woodloc® 5S technology that makes installation a breeze! Flooring boards are easily connected using a floating installation method.
American Naturals Flooring is Long Lasting and Easy to Maintain!
Even though the surface layer is only 1/8″ thick, it can be sanded two times. This is the same number that a solid hardwood floor can be sanded, allowing American Naturals Flooring to be long lasting! Furthermore, the finish that is applied to the flooring is top-quality, causing the floor to shine while simultaneously emphasizing the structure of the wood.
