As a Select &Â Better White Oak floor, the manufacturer has sorted out the natural flaws and blemishes to leave you with the clearest and most uniform planks possible. White Oak is considered by many to be a superior selection of Red Oak because White Oak is both harder and more dimensionally stable than Red Oak.
Also, because it is more neutral in color than it’s red colored counterpart, White Oak is typically a better fit for more interiors, and easier to decorate around than Red Oak.
Within this white oak flooring you will find a subtle blend of creams and light browns, with an overall look that is very natural. White Oak is beautiful when left it’s natural color and coated with a clear sealer and finish, or it can easily be stained a large variety of standard or custom colors on your job-site.
This White Oak flooring is unfinished, and like all unfinished hardwood flooring, it is recommended that you sand this flooring after installation, and then finish the flooring using one of many of the wood floor finishing systems that are available.
Each of these Solid White Oak planks features Tongue &Â Groove Milling, and measures a full 3/4″ thick, 8″ wide, and Random Lengths from 1 to 7 Feet Long.
